2007 Women’s Windows Program Results
During 2007, the Women's Windows Program reached over 16,200 participants at 92 agencies (4,025 women participating in an average of 4 workshops each).

At the end of 2007, 74 active programs filled out annual evaluations where they evaluated the impact of the Women’s Windows Program during the entire year:

Clarifying Needs and Goals:
88% of the leaders reported that the art program was “highly effective” in helping women to clarify present needs and future goals, and 70% found it to be MORE effective than ANY OTHER service in this regard.

Building Confidence to Break with the Past:
89% of the leaders found that the workshops assisted women in developing the confidence they need to break with the past and start new lives.

We asked women to assess the usefulness of the art workshops in their healing process. We gathered the following results from 3,555 individual self- evaluation sheets completed by participants following their workshop experience:

Healthy Decisions:
96% of the workshops helped women to find courage to make healthy decisions for the future.

Future Outlook:
96% of the workshops resulted in participants feeling more positive about themselves and their futures.

Self-Expression:
97% of the workshops enabled women to express thoughts and feelings more easily.

Dealing with Feelings:
96% of the workshops helped the women to deal constructively with feelings, such as releasing anger and pain.

Helping Develop Focus:
96% of the workshops helped the women develop a stronger sense of themselves and where they want to go in their lives.
