The Survivor's Art Circle (SAC) program continues the journey toward healing outside a shelter setting. The SAC provides a creative space formed by survivors in which it is safe to express oneself through art. Making art is not only beneficial to the survivors themselves, but also sends a powerful message to the community when it is displayed in exhibitions and publications. Art plays a vital role in raising awareness and breaking the silence and shame surrounding domestic violence.
