Please join us in creating future Art Journals by contributing art for possible publication and filling out the informational form below.
To date, we have begun work on the following journals: African American, Native American Indian, Teens, and Women Battered by Women survivors of domestic violence.
As a small
organization, we create new Art Journals as funding and staff capacity
permits. For example, the first art for A/PI Journal was received in
1995— and the journal was published in 2005! We appreciate your
patience and support in gathering artwork to make each future journal
possible.

If you are not presently in a situation where you are safe to send and receive information from AWBW because it would put you, AWBW or others at risk, we ask that you take a moment to consider whether you need to take some steps right now to ensure you are in a safe place. AWBW is not a domestic violence shelter, crisis hotline, or counseling agency and our staff are not licensed psychotherapists, social workers, or attorneys. Should you require professional services or crisis support, we strongly recommend that you seek these serices as soon as possible. You may want to talk to a domestic violence counselor, agency or shelter. For a list of resources, click here.
